  12. Please try this init strings:
  13. 1. -->  AT&F1&H1S36=0S7=90\  (All Upper case--Backslash important)
  14. 2. -->  AT&FX4&A1&B1&H1&M4&R2^M--> (NO BACKSLASH)
  15.  
  16. also disable ECM option under Setup-Fax modem.
  17. also try reducing max speed to 9600
  18. delete temp files from DOS environmment
